Some jr. skulkers might think that a site called "phonefree.com" would let you make free phone calls, but not this one. Jr. Skulker Chris Gray knows that what they really mean is that you can make calls over the Internet from PC to PC for free, but if you want to make real phone calls from your PC to a regular phone, phonefree will charge you $15 per month for unlimited service to the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. At the moment it would be silly for you to pay that, because http://www.dialpad.com , http://www.myfreeld.com , and http://valuefone.mediaring.com/freecall let you call regular phones in the U.S. for free. You jr. skulkers in other countries have figured out you can use these sites to call your friends in the U.S. for free, haven't you?
"The purpose is to offer some scanning tips and hints, help with fundamentals and other basic scanning information to help you get the most from your scanner. How it works, for those that want to know. Included here are the general questions that we've all asked about scanning, but unfortunately, that other sources don't answer. I think the scanning tips are basic, and appropriate for the beginner to scanning. The content is not advanced, but it is certainly not superficial either, it's just simply about how it works. It describes the things we need to know to be efficient and get the most from our scanner, in the various ways that we can use it. This material is intended for home and hobby scanner users, and is not concerned with commercial matters." Thanks to Jr. Skulker MediaHound for suggesting this.
This site, suggested by Jr. Skulker Dan, is home for two shareware programs that every jr. skulker should have: WinBoost 2000 and InternetTweak 2000. "WinBoost is a special utility designed to boost Windows 98/95 performance and productivity. Using an easy to use graphical user interface you can configure hundreds of Windows 98/95 hidden settings from Start Menu, Desktop, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, etc." "InternetTweak 2000 (previously well known as NetMaster) is a special utility designed to configure and personalize Internet secret settings in Windows 98/95. Some of its features: optimize your Internet connection's performance, access Internet Explorer secret settings, access Outlook Express secret settings, access Netscape Communicator secret settings."
This site has stupid news, jokes, audio/visual stupidity, cartoons, funny pictures, reviews of other humor sites, and lots more. WebSkulker's favorite was this cartoon: http://www.goofball.com/pictures/cartoons/20000217_aolsex.html
There was a chicken and a horse playing together in a barn yard, suddenly the horse falls into a pit. He yells to the chicken: Go get the farmer, save me, save me!!!" The chicken goes looking for the farmer but can't find him. So he gets the farmer's BMW and drives it over to the mud pit, lassos the horse, ties it to the car and pulls him out.
